Moshe Dov

 

Moshe is an Associate Vice President of ISIS with diversified senior-level Industrial Engineering, Quality Systems and Operational Procedures experience in both the public and private sectors. In addition to being an integral member of the ISIS Team and responsible for ISIS activities in Israel, Moshe is the former Managing Director of Deloitte Management Consulting Israel Ltd and an acknowledged leading consultant in areas of Quality Systems; Industrial Engineering; Operational Procedures; implementation of ISO 9000, 14000 and SA 8000; implementation of Best Practice Procedures and the European Excellence Model for a host of public and private enterprises within Israel. Additionally, he is the Head of the Operation Management and Information Systems departments, Business Administration, for the Israeli branch of the University of Derby.

He has been a senior advisor to such world-class enterprises as: Volvo, Honda, De-Beers, Teres-Pezos, Johnson & Johnson, Mallinckrodt, ITL Company and Vassilopoulos. He has also been an senior advisor to the Israeli Ministry of Transport, the Israeli Postal Authority, the Israeli Air-Force, the Israeli Electricity Company, and Tel Aviv and Kiriat Ata's municipal authorities.

Currently, Moshe is the Chairman of the Israeli Industrial Engineers Association; a committee member of The Standards Institute of Israel; a member of the Council for Higher Studies that examines and awards B.Sc academic degrees in industrial engineering; and a member of the committee for acknowledging engineering faculty in higher education institutes which are not universities, on behalf of the Engineering and Architectures Committee.

Earlier, Moshe was a Member in the executive committee of The Standards Institute of Israel; Head of the Business Administration program for engineers in Haifa University; Head of the establishment staff and head of the Industrial Engineering department in "Ariel" College; a member of the academic management of the Industrial Engineering school in the Academic College in Netanya; a lecturer in the Industrial Engineering department in Tel-Aviv University and in the Industrial Engineering faculty at the Technion, Haifa; and a lecturer in the Hoteliery Schools of Technion-Haifa, and Ben-Guryon University.

Moshe holds a B.Sc Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Technology from Tel Aviv University, an M.Sc Industrial Engineering from Technion, Haifa and a Ph.D. Education from Derby, UK. He completed the ISO 9000 Lead Auditors course at South Bank Polytechnic, London; the BPR Implementation Consultants Course with Deloitte & Touche, London; and the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Implementation course of the European Excellence Model. He has written several noted books in areas of Linear Algebra; Operations Management; Methods for Balancing Assembly Lines; Implementation of ISO 14000; and a Quality Guidebook for the Israeli Air Force. Moshe has been honored with an award in memory of Elchanan Peles on behalf of the Engineers and Architects Chamber for his contribution to advancing engineering in the State of Israel. He is fluent in Hebrew and English and is a resident of Israel.
